How it works
- 1Open the PDF and wait for the first page to render.
- 2Drag the crop handles, or type exact margins.
- 3Apply the same box to every page or only to the pages you selected.
- 4Export the cropped document.
What this does to your file
Cropping sets each page's visible box. The content outside it is hidden rather than deleted, which is how PDF cropping works everywhere — a determined reader can restore the full page.
Common questions
Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The page loads a PDF engine into your browser and the document is read from disk by that engine. There is no upload endpoint, and once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network and the tool still works.
Is the cropped-away content really gone?
- No. Cropping changes the page boundary only. If the margins contain something confidential, redact it or export the pages as images instead.
Can I crop only some pages?
- Yes. Select the pages first and the new box is applied to those pages alone.
Why do my scanned pages have uneven black edges?
- Scanners capture a little past the paper. Crop those edges away in one pass by applying the same margins to every page.
