How it works
- 1Open the PDF.
- 2Type the watermark text and set colour, size, rotation and opacity.
- 3Position it using the preview, or drag it where you want it.
- 4Export — the stamp is drawn onto every page you selected.
What this does to your file
The watermark is drawn into the page content as real text, not attached as an annotation. It prints, survives flattening, and cannot be switched off in a reader.
Common questions
Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The page loads a PDF engine into your browser and the document is read from disk by that engine. There is no upload endpoint, and once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network and the tool still works.
Can a watermark be removed later?
- It becomes part of the page content, so it cannot be toggled off. Anyone determined to remove it can still edit the file — treat a watermark as a marking, not as protection.
Can I watermark several documents at once?
- Yes. Queue the extra files and the same watermark settings are applied to each one.
Does it support non-Latin text?
- Yes. A Unicode font is embedded when the text needs one, so accented, Cyrillic, Greek and CJK characters are drawn correctly.
