How it works
- 1Add two or more PDFs — drop them together or add files one at a time.
- 2Drag the files into the order you want them combined.
- 3Merge, then review the page count of the result.
- 4Export the combined document, or send it straight to another tool.
What this does to your file
Merging copies each source page into a new document in the order listed. Page content, text layers and embedded fonts are carried across unchanged, so text stays selectable and searchable in the result.
Common questions
Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The page loads a PDF engine into your browser and the document is read from disk by that engine. There is no upload endpoint, and once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network and the tool still works.
How large a file can I use?
- The limit is your device's memory rather than a server quota. Documents up to a few hundred pages are routine; very large scanned files may need a desktop browser with more memory available.
Does merging reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so images and text are identical to the originals. Use Compress afterwards if you want a smaller file.
What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
- Page content is preserved. Document-level structures such as outlines and interactive form fields belong to the original file and may not survive a merge; flatten forms first if their filled values matter.
What happens with a password-protected PDF?
- You are prompted for the password so the browser can open the document. If you do not have it, nothing can be done with the file here — the password is never bypassed or cracked.
